Experienced High Speed Railway - Taipei to Taichung, it take about 45 minutes only. We bought the buy 1 free 1 tickets during the tourism promotion, it was worth for money. Otherwise might to use TRA which take about 2 hours. Alight from HSR, you need to use TRA instead of MRT to reach Taichung city, which TRA New Wuri Station is connected to HSR Station, from here you can start to use the Easy Card, otherwise you can purchase token from the ticket counter.
