Tainan Houbi - Asia Pacific Orchid Conference and Taiwan International Orchid Show

The annual Asia Pacific Orchid Conference is back again, held in the Houbi District of Tainan. If it weren't for the orchid show, there would be few opportunities to visit Houbi. The scale of the Asia Pacific Orchid Conference is truly impressive, with five large exhibition halls, each divided into several themes: the Theme Hall, Competition Hall, Business Hall, Lifestyle Hall, and Market Hall. As soon as you step into the Theme Hall, you are overwhelmed by the sea of flowers. The exhibits from all over the world are so spectacular, it's amazing how floral art can be presented in such a way. Besides visiting each hall in order, the most distinctive exhibition area is the Lifestyle Hall. Unlike the other four, the Lifestyle Hall is long and narrow, featuring a landscape competition, floral art classroom, gift flower display area, digital immersion hall, agricultural boutique hall, and Chimei Cultural and Creative. Among them, the Digital Immersion Hall is the most special, using immersive interactive body-sensing projection similar to teamLab, making you feel like you are in a sea of flowers. It's a fantastic and fun experience. The exhibition area is large and crowded. Even if you just skim through it, it will take at least 1-2 hours. After getting tired, you can go to the agricultural market to eat and drink, enjoy some air conditioning, and take a short rest.
