First, we came to the #NationalMuseum of Taiwan Literature ✍️, which adopts European-style architecture and exhibits precious cultural relics of Taiwanese literature, writers' manuscripts, etc. I took some photos and checked in inside. The building is really classical and elegant. Next to the Literature Museum is the #TainanConfuciusTemple, I went to pay homage to the teacher of all ages! #Taiwan's First School was founded in the Ming Dynasty and was called the "Temple of the First Teacher". It has a history of more than 300 years. It was founded by the Zheng Dynasty, the first Han regime on the island, in order to provide education in Taiwan and cultivate talents to serve the country. The Confucius Temple adopts the traditional architectural layout of "school on the left and temple on the right". The school on the left refers to the teaching facilities centered on the #Minglun Hall, and the temple on the right refers to the religious building centered on the #Dacheng Hall. It continued to function during the Qing Dynasty and was the location of Taiwan Prefecture University, the highest government-run institution of learning in Taiwan. To this day, the Confucius Temple remains a holy temple for scholars and enjoys a lofty status. The Confucianism advocated by Confucius and its spirit of benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, filial piety, fraternal love, loyalty and faithfulness are the foundation of Chinese traditional culture and have deeply influenced generations of Chinese people. The last stop is #ChiMeiMuseum, the most beautiful private museum in Taiwan. Its exterior is made up of Western classical aesthetic elements. The pure white palace with round arches and spires makes it feel like a European palace or museum. The Apollo Fountain depicts the sun god riding his chariot and leaping out of the sea. Crossing the bridge piers over the moat, brave and elegant white lion heads are lined up in a row, and the solemn Olympian gods are also neatly displayed on the bridge. Walking across the bridge, you will see the front entrance of the museum with its towering dome and different Greek columns on each side. This imposing manner further highlights the magnificence of the palace that houses the treasures. Walking into the museum, it is divided into animal area, sculpture hall, gallery 🎨, musical instrument department 🎻, weapons hall ⚔️, ancient artifacts, etc. The collection is rich and varied, including ancient Egyptian artifacts from the 8th century BC, the world's most precious ancient zithers, Japanese samurai swords from hundreds of years ago, classic masterpieces from the Renaissance, etc. For a museum with private collections, the richness of the collection is astonishing. Walking by the lake outside the museum and watching the swans and other waterfowl, I felt comfortable and healed.
