Memories of Tainan Confucius Temple in the Rain, A Meeting Point of Eastern and Western Cultures.

At the end of June, I visited the Tainan Confucius Temple with a few French friends. We were looking forward to strolling through this culturally rich historical site and experiencing the essence of Confucian thought. Unexpectedly, a thunderstorm broke out in the afternoon. The sound of the rain echoed under the ancient eaves, adding a unique charm. We had to take shelter in the temple, quietly admiring the surrounding carved beams and painted rafters, as if we were immersed in the river of time. Although we couldn't fully explore the site, the sudden rain allowed us to experience another kind of tranquility and solemnity of the Confucius Temple.
