Camping by the sea

It was a cloudy and windy weekend, we went to a private campsite “Hong Kong Pedal Powered Kayak Association” at Ting Kok Tsuen. It’s convenient for family or first time camper where there’s : Carpark 🚗 Toilet 🚻 Shower 🚿 (hot/cold water) BBQ stoves for rentals Table and chairs Drinks for sales We enjoyed our time together with a couple of friends, our camping buddies. The crowd control is good ! Plenty of space between campers, and a huge area for kids to run around and play with each other. Most impressed by their effort in putting leave no trace in action. The cleaning / washing system is clever; and gathering all trash and bring it out to the carpark (don’t leave it at the campsite) near entrance of the village, these makes the campsite clean and odour free. It’s quite a relaxing but fun weekend. We had a birthday party 🥳, water guns fights 💦🔫, flying kites 🪁 and splashing stones in water by the mangrove forest 🌳 . If you have extra time to spend, which we are planning for our next visit, do rent their kayaks 🛶(they have pedal powered kayak too! ) or join their kayak course.
