Third day of the trip to Shandong. Take the scenic bus to Zhongtianmen, and then take the cable car directly to Nantianmen. Although there is less fun of climbing for a long time, some beautiful scenic spots are missed, but it saves time and retains physical strength. For couples like us who are not good at walking, it is also a loss and a gain. After all, the most beautiful scenery is on the dangerous peak, isn't it? Out of the cableway, Bentian Street. The begonia flowers all over the mountains and plains have already drunk the tourists. The begonia trees in Mount Tai are mostly distributed on slopes above one kilometer, and there are more and denser ones on the top of the mountain. The timing is just right, above Nantianmen, the begonia flowers on the mountain are blooming wantonly, in clusters, layers, and trees. The wind sways the flower branches, the flowers are either white or pink, under the green leaves on the branches, they are graceful and fragrant, arousing the romantic feelings of tourists. The pines of Mount Tai are also fascinating, either popping out of the sea of flowers, growing in rock crevices, or standing in front of palaces, temples, and temples. The needles are dark green, and the trunks are vigorous. Adding vitality to Mount Tai, there are also many eye-catching but unknown flowers, plants and trees, widely planted in the mountains and fields, dazzling and charming. In fact, the rocks of Mount Tai are the soul of Mount Tai. The Tai Shan conglomerate, which was formed about 2.5 billion years ago, is one of the oldest strata in China. On the stone cliffs on the side of the mountain road, you can often see the inscriptions marking the names and formation years of the mountains and rocks. Many rocks are 600 million years, 700 million years, or even 2.1 billion years old, which makes me sigh at the shortness of life. It is said that there are more than 1,000 cliff carvings in Mount Tai, most of which were left by literati and scholars of the past dynasties, and some of the emperors' inscriptions and inscriptions are carved on them. Mount Tai provides precious resources for important disciplines such as the study of the earth's geology, Chinese history and culture, and plant growth distribution. On the top of the mountain, the red cliffs of Daguan Peak are magnificent and spectacular, and the texture and color are first-class. Among them, there is a huge rock that is like a mountain top, standing tens of meters high, with the "Record of Mount Tai" engraved in the thirteenth year of Kaiyuan of Tang Xuanzong. The whole book is carved in regular script on the entire cliff, which is spectacular and has great artistic appreciation and historical research value. The Zhanlu Terrace on the top of the mountain is the best perspective to appreciate the natural beauty of Mount Tai. This platform is a vertical cliff on three sides, with a wide view, overlooking the mountains and rivers, and a sense of heroism arises. But seeing the cliffs of ten thousand feet, the mountain tops are lined with trees, the strange rocks are rugged, either sharp or smooth and bright, the stone color is either green and white, or white and yellow, the green pines and green grass are dotted among the stones, quite like the cliffs of Huangshan, its natural and primitive appearance is memorable. On the top of the mountain, you can see all directions, see the entire Tai'an city, look at the rivers of the Qilu Plain, and take in all the weather. When the sun is about to set, the remaining clouds in the west begin to turn red, slowly deepening to light red, the light beams scatter through the clouds into the sky, the distant mountains and the horizon form a magnificent scene, which is very shocking. We were fortunate to see a spectacular sunset. When I returned to the Yunnao Hotel next to Tianjie, it was already dark. The wind started on the mountain and the temperature dropped. The waiter informed the two of us that there will be a local guide to take the guests to watch the sunrise tomorrow morning. After renting two cotton coats, I went back to the room to sleep early, ready to welcome tomorrow's sun.
