Great atmosphere, the owner is happy to chat. He also bakes in-house. Muffins, madeleines and god almond tart are just the top of the iceberg. We even had a beef rendang for lunch one day which was as good if not better than the rendang I had in Malaysia. Food is great. And nice coffee too. We ate breakfast and dined on several occasions. Plenty of cafe's in the area, but Joe Black Cafe is definitely one of the standouts in this Museum/ Surry Hills area. The mice are homemade and you can taste the quality of them. The portion is big so you may skip your lunch. #australiatrip #brekkie #sydney
