Sawat city in kpk Pakistan

#timetotravel Sawat has a long and rich history, and was once ruled by a number of different dynasties. It is a district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located in the north-western part of the country, and is known for its snow-capped mountains, lush valleys, and glaciers. In the 19th century, Sawat became a princely state, and was ruled by the Akhund of Sawat. The princely state was dissolved in 1969, and Sawat became part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In recent years, Sawat has undergone a significant transformation. The once-troubled valley has been largely peaceful since the 2009 military operation, and tourism has been steadily increasing. Sawat is now a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists. Some of the most popular tourist attractions include the Mingora City, the Sawat River, the Kalam Valley, the Utror Valley, and the Madyan Valley.
