Suzhou | Xiyuan Temple has entered its best autumn viewing period

Suzhou has surprisingly warmed up at the end of November! The temperature reached 20 degrees Celsius over the weekend, marking the peak autumn viewing season in Suzhou. I decided to try my luck at Xiyuan Temple first. 1️⃣ Vegetarian Noodles I arrived at Xiyuan Temple around noon. After receiving incense and burning it at the entrance, I headed straight for the vegetarian noodles. I really don't recommend going during peak hours on the weekend; it's incredibly crowded, with long queues and no seats. Luckily, the queue moved relatively quickly, and I managed to get my Guanyin noodles. As someone who loves Suzhou-style noodles, I must say that the noodles at Xiyuan Temple are truly delicious! 2️⃣ Petting the Cats🐈 Xiyuan Temple is also known as the Cat Temple. It has many cats, and they are very well cared for. They're used to the large number of visitors and aren't afraid of people. They roam freely in the temple and even pose for photos, being particularly cooperative "little models." I even saw some newborn kittens—so lucky! 💓 3️⃣Taking Photos🤳 Suzhou is now at its peak season for ginkgo and maple leaves, and the scenery inside Xiyuan Temple is especially photogenic!
