Suzhou Taihu Lake Xishan Island Must-See for Team Building

Hesitating where to go for the weekend? Suzhou's "Little Erhai Lake" is worth the trip! A two-day, one-night island getaway~ 🚗 Transportation: Driving is recommended. Parking on the island is very convenient, with free parking spaces available on both sides of the road. For those without cars, renting a car is also very convenient and affordable, offering great value! - Day 1⃣: We arrived at Xishan Island at 2pm and visited two scenic spots before returning to our homestay for a rest. Spot 1: Linwu Cave, a Taoist holy land. The cave is super cool, the stalactites are dreamy, and it's a perfect spot for taking photos! Spot 2: Shigong Mountain: Climb to the top for a panoramic view of Taihu Lake. The sunset is breathtaking! - Day 2⃣: We also arranged two scenic spots for the morning, focusing on relaxed travel! ⛰️ Piaomiao Peak: The highest peak on Xishan Island. The view of Taihu Lake from the summit is unbeatable! The climb is a bit tiring, but the scenery makes it worthwhile! ⛰️ Taihu Bridge: Stop by on the way back for some photos. The lake view from the bridge is stunning~ (But don't stay too long) 🚲 Afternoon: We rented bicycles for a ride around the island. The lake breeze was super comfortable. For those who don't like strenuous activities, you can choose to stroll along the lake, relax, and enjoy the slow pace of life~ Tips: Bicycle rentals are scarce on the island. You can ask the homestay staff to help you book bicycle or electric scooter rentals. The price is 50+ per person. You can also book the popular Snoopy car for 100+ per person, which you can use for a whole day. - 🏠 Accommodation: A good trip depends not only on the destination but also on the accommodation. This time on the island, we found our dream homestay. 🏠 Homestay: Huyin Boyu | 270° Mountain Oxygen Bar, Nordic Design Homestay Location: Located on Xishan Island, it's close to all the scenic spots. We drove there, which saved us a lot of travel time. Most importantly, the overall design style of the homestay leans towards Nordic design, which is very pleasing to the eye! Facilities: The homestay has KTV, a home theater, a chess and card room, and outdoor barbecue facilities, making it a great place for entertainment. Service: The homestay owner is very welcoming and hospitable. They also enthusiastically helped us book the popular Snoopy car and bicycles. Services: The homestay has its own restaurant where you can book meals in advance. We booked our meals before the trip, so after visiting the scenic spots, we could comfortably return to the homestay to rest and eat. - 💡 Tips: 1⃣ Driving is recommended, as the scenic spots on the island are scattered, making driving more convenient. 2⃣ Remember to bring sunscreen and a jacket, as it can be windy by the lake, and there is a significant temperature difference between day and night. 3⃣ Book your accommodation in advance, as it's very popular!
