Lingering Garden in Fall

Lingering Garden is a classical private garden with a long history, dating back to 1593 during the Ming Dynasty. It was originally called "East Garden" and later renamed "Hanbi Villa." The garden has undergone several periods of neglect and ownership changes, but was revitalized after the Suzhou government decided to restore it in 1953. It is now recognized as one of China's four famous gardens and a cultural landmark of Suzhou.
