Plum trees grow picturesquely throughout the park. Even before you see them, the enticing aroma of plums wafts through the air, whispering of summer sweetness. Scattered on the ground, fallen plums lie like gifts from nature, waiting to be discovered. Adults and children gather beneath the plum trees. Some children excitedly shake the branches, gleefully collecting the fallen fruit; others stand on tiptoe, carefully plucking plums from the branches. Each approach is filled with childlike wonder and joy. On this day, just before the Dragon Boat Festival, the park's reed leaves have been almost entirely harvested. Only a few withered leaves and those deep within the reeds, difficult to reach, remain, hinting at the busyness and excitement of summer. As the sun sets, the park gradually returns to tranquility in the early evening. Strolling back, I encountered small squirrels several times. One particularly captivating squirrel was engrossed in eating a pine cone, seemingly lost in its own world. When it sensed my approach, it nimbly leaped and scurried up a tree, its movements fluid and agile as it jumped between the branches. The entire park is alive with the charm and vitality of summer, each step a beat in nature's heart. It's not only a treasure trove of nature but also a children's paradise, offering endless joy and memories.
