Dushu Lake Christian Church

Dushu Lake Christian Church is located beside the beautiful Dushu Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park. The church was founded in 2008, held its first service on Easter April 4, 2010, and held its dedication ceremony on May 28. The main body of the church adopts Gothic architectural style, with a total construction area of ​​5,619 square meters. It is divided into three parts: the main hall, the pastor's building and the bell tower. The second floor of the main hall can accommodate a thousand people, and there are four small halls on the first floor, each of which can accommodate more than 200 people. The church's stained glass is quite distinctive, and the gorgeous pictures interpret the cultural elements of Christianity. The bell tower is 51 meters high and is equipped with five bronze bells of different sizes, which can play church music and tell the time in harmony. The underwater cross standing in Dushu Lake is a pioneering work of the church. It is 6.6 meters high and 3.15 meters wide. The statue of Jesus standing in the center of the church square is made of bronze, 6 meters high and weighs 3 tons. It is placed on a 1.8-meter-high white marble base. The completion and opening of Dushu Lake Church has provided a high-quality venue for Chinese and foreign Christian believers in Suzhou, increased the cultural connotation of the park, and improved the living environment. At the same time, it provides necessary facilities for the standardization of religious activities.
