The 2024 Huqiu Flower Festival, with the theme of 'Huqiu Flower Morning, Enjoying the Spring Mountain', invites us to step into the green and admire the blossoms, a romantic flower morning tradition that has been passed down for a thousand years. In the gentle breeze of March, the Huqiu Flower Festival arrives with the blooming flowers. The Huqiu in spring is an ocean of flowers, with the February orchids spread across the hills, the cherry blossoms at the north gate, the crabapples in Yixia Garden, the camellias beside Yanghejian, and the magnolias amidst the clouds and tea fragrance... Each of them poses gracefully, outlining the silhouette of the Huqiu Tower and creating unique scenic lines. When the flowers are in full bloom, it is the best time to enjoy the sights. During the Flower Festival, the parade of the flower deities is the most beautiful scene in the romantic spring days. In Huqiu, you can see the twelve flower deities dressed in Chinese garments, performing Chinese rituals, and displaying Chinese beauty. Their skirts fluttering, enchanting and moving, as if they have slowly walked out of a painting over a thousand years. As a tourist attraction, Huqiu Scenic Area is a place where the local customs and folk culture of Wu are concentrated, with a history of 'three markets and three festivals'. This year's Flower Festival starts with the 'Spring Peony Market', creating a full atmosphere of a 'floral' market, with various fresh flowers, floral pastries, flower fruit drinks, floral makeup... A dazzling array, where visitors can stroll and shop, bringing spring home. The elegant floral events of the Huqiu Flower Festival come with the spring, inviting us all to a romantic rendezvous amidst the blooming flowers.
