A less crowded free park--Wufeng Park

Wufeng Park was first built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, and it was the private residence of Yang Ru, the Minister of Nanjing. From the main gate along the northwest corridor, you reach the Boat House Pillar Stone Pavilion, which is ingeniously designed and unique. Further east is the main hall, Wufeng Mountain House. There is a small pool to the south of the hall, with sky light and cloud shadows. Across the pool, a large artificial mountain is an old object from the Ming Dynasty, said to be designed by Wen Bo Ren, the nephew of Wen Zheng Ming. There are cliffs, canyons, stone bridges, and stone beams in the artificial mountain, winding and steep, with hundreds of turns. There are five peaks on the top, wrinkled and transparent, exquisite, because they look like old men, they are also called Five Old Peaks. There is a mound to the west of the pool, surrounded by green shade, with a pavilion named Liuyi Pavilion, and a well named Liuyi Well. The park focuses on the five peaks, and the design of the artificial mountain route below is ingenious, giving a unique feeling; you can also learn about the story of Liuyi's book delivery, which is worth exploring. The park is not big, but it has towering ancient trees and is quiet and elegant. It's free and less crowded, it's a pity not to come. It's just a lane away from Taibo Temple, and you can visit both.
