Ban Na San - Sand Dunes

Hiding in a village in the southern part of Thailand, Nern Tsai Muang Gae or Gae Mine Sand Dunes are hardened sand piles that have transformed into a conglomerate composed of layers of loose sand. It will take around 40 minutes of drive (motorcycle) to get there from Surat Thani town. It is easy to locate as well. It will take you around 5-7 minutes of hike to reach the top (better prepare a bottle of water). Once you are on top, you will see there a lot the beautiful green scenery and of course smell the fresh breeze of air.
