Another local market just 5 minutes away from Oh Poi Market, run by the ethnic Karen community themselves. You can either drive or take the shuttle provided. This one is also unique in its own way - surrounded by lush greenery landscape and river stream. The alms giving ritual also starts around 7:30 am here. A beautiful ceremony to witness and partipate in, regardless of your religion. The catch here is the colorful cradle, as they welcome you with traditional dance performance by the students. There are food, coffee shops, handmade crafts and Karen clothes for sale all at very decent price. There is no entrance fee, not packed with tourist. In fact, not very well known but there's much to see. Lovely relaxing weekend. There are also resort / homestay closeby.
