The mesmerising Edinburgh castle

I visited Edinburgh last September, and managed to take in the last rays of the summer season before it got too cold. Edinburgh castle sits on a volcanic remnant overlooking the city, and can be viewed from many vantage points. It is steeped in history and traces its establishment back to the middle aged. The castle used to be the home to Scotland's Kings and Queens. #edinburgh #scotland
