Walking Through the River: The Narrows Adventure

The towering canyon walls on both sides rise hundreds of feet above you, creating an incredible slot canyon environment that feels otherworldly. I started from the Riverside Walk and made my way upstream into Wall Street, the most stunning section with sheer cliffs and narrow passages. Proper gear is essential: I rented neoprene socks, water shoes, and a sturdy walking stick from a local outfitter. The water can be cold even in summer, but the beauty and serenity of this hike make it absolutely unforgettable.
