SHOULD YOU VISIT UBUD, BALI?

šŸ“Ubud, Bali One thing that stands out about Ubud is the art culture. Ubud is known as a centre for traditional crafts and dance, and around the town there is art in the form of paintings, dance, kites and dress. Surrounding Ubud are villages specifically dedicated to art. On one of our days in Ubud, we went to a silver class and made our own beautiful silver rings. The entire village where the class was located was dedicated to so many different types of art. What stood out the most about our class, was the fact that our rings were made solely utilising the materials found on the island of Bali. For instance, the glue for our gem stones and the soap that we shined our rings with, was made using a local fruit. Another key aspect of our stay in Ubud is the guest house that we stayed in, Bali Moon Guest House. Right in the centre of Ubud, but tucked away in the rice fields, made it one of the most convenient and most beautiful places weā€™ve stayed. The views from our room of pure greenery & nature were an absolute blessing to wake up to every morning. The rice terraces in Ubud are a popular tourist attraction that we decided to check out on our last day & Iā€™m so glad we did. We decided to have a snack at Tis Cafe that overlooked the rice terraces & the views were absolutely stunning - I highly recommend visiting! The only thing we disliked about Ubud was the traffic. Bali traffic really is something else. There are constant cars and bikes crawling through traffic, every single day. The town is also so busy, so walking on the cracked pathways, dodging everyone, can get quite frustrating. However, I totally wouldnā€™t skip Ubud & would recommend anyone to go for at least 3 nights to see everything Ubud has to offer! #bali #ubud #indonesia #travelguide #tegalalangriceterrace #themonkeyforest #silverclass #jewelleryclass #tegununganwaterfall #balitravel #balibackpackers #backpacking #travel #travellers #travelcouple #travelfoodie #wanderlust #travelblogger #travelphotography #travelgram
