Mangwon-dong, the most romantic place in Seoul

No one can argue!!✋🏻 Mangwon-dong is a place where Seoul's cafes, small shops, markets, the Han River, and dreams of chasing stars are all packed together. It's close to Yonsei University and Hongik University, so I often stop here after classes or on my way to shopping. Here are some of my favorite spots in Mangwon-dong! 🧺 망원한강공원 Mangwon Hangang Park 📍서울 마포구 마포나루길 467 If you come to Mangwon-dong, be sure to watch the sunset at Hangang Park🥺. You can just hang out here, buy something at Mangwon Market and have a picnic, rent a bike and ride along the Han River, or take a walk by the river. Whatever you do, Hangang Park is a very relaxing place☀️. Origami Club, a small cafe across from YG. I love their lattes. The milk and coffee are a perfect blend. The butter persimmon cakes are also delicious!! It's rare to find a cafe that sells butter persimmon cakes in Seoul🧈. YG Entertainment YG Building and YG Shop are places I always stop by every time I come to Mangwon. I've met fans from Southeast Asia here, and I've happened to see Choi Hyun-suk and Treasure members leaving work. You can also visit on someone's birthday to show your support🥹. Linnea's Shop, a small general store on the street 39, 1st floor, Mae Hong Kong This is a small general store on the street, and it has a lot of Hayao Miyazaki anime related products. The owner is also kind and you can touch them freely. Hoonhoon Hotteok 📍 25, 6th floor, Mae Hong Kong, 1st floor, Mae Hong Kong This is a hotteok store that is popular among local Koreans. When I visited, the store was full of people, but the line moved quickly. The price is 1500-2000 won, I chose the 씨앗호떡, but the ingredients were generous!! 망원시장 Mangwon Market 📍서울 마포구 포은로6길 27 Unlike Gwangjang Market, this market has fewer tourists and a more local atmosphere. Inside, there are many snacks such as jam chicken and fried foods, and fruits are also sold at reasonable prices. There are also many traditional Korean restaurants on both sides. When you step here, you will feel like you have integrated into the local life of Seoul. However, these few stores alone cannot fully convey the charm of Mangwon-dong. I always feel that Mangwon-dong is a place worth wandering around the small streets and taking time to explore.
