The Ivan Vazov National Theatre has a fully equipped main stage with 750 seats, a smaller stage with 120 seats and an additional 70 seats on the fourth floor. The front of the Bulgarian 50 leva banknote, issued in 1999 and 2006, depicts the building’s facade.
