It's the Museum of Mineralogy, Petrology and Mineral Resources (Музей по минералогия, петрология и полезни изкопаеми). It was a real heaven for me, a geology lover! ✨ The museum exhibits various minerals, rocks, and fossil specimens from Bulgaria and all over the world, and the colorful colors and unique shapes were really pleasing to the eye. I spent a long time here alone, and it was really amazing how each stone seemed to hide hundreds of millions of years of Earth's history! 🔬🗺️ Recommended route: Take the M1/M4 subway line and get off at Serdika station. After exiting the station, walk for about 10 minutes to get there. It is located on the campus of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", so you will have to search for it a little. Set aside 1.5-2 hours to slowly admire the amazing mineral crystals and rock textures. There are many valuable exhibits here, so be sure to look closely. 📸 The lighting inside the museum is good, so you can take really pretty close-up photos of minerals. Even if you just take a photo, it will come out as a luxurious natural art photo!
