It has a great geographical location 🤩. 🙏 Religious buildings: 🌟 Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is the second largest cathedral in the Balkans and one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals in the world 😃. It is a Neo-Byzantine building with a gilded dome 45 meters high and a bell tower 53 meters high. The interior is decorated with various luxurious materials, and many of the icons and frescoes in the church are by Russian painters 👏. 🌟 St. Nicholas Church, also known as the Russian Church of Sofia, is a Russian Orthodox church 😏. The five domes on the top are covered with pure gold, the exterior is decorated with colored tiles, the interior frescoes were completed by a team of artists, and the basement still preserves the relics of St. Seraphim 😜. 🌟 St. George Church is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the city, with a medieval style, originally built by the Romans in the 4th century 😃. 📚 History and culture: 🌟 The ancient city of Serdica in Sofia was discovered during the construction of the subway, and later, streets, courtyards, and other ruins were excavated one after another.
