Skopje Zoo 🐘🦒

#2024wish Just had a fantastic day exploring Skopje Zoo! 🐾🌳 Located in the heart of Skopje, North Macedonia, this zoo offers a wonderful escape into nature. 🇲🇰 The entrance fee was quite affordable, around €5, making it a budget-friendly option for families and animal lovers alike. 🎟️💰 The zoo is home to a diverse array of animals, from big cats to exotic birds and reptiles. 🦁🦜🐍 Despite its smaller size compared to some zoos, it's well-maintained, and the staff clearly care for the animals' well-being. 🌿💚 One of the highlights for me was the opportunity to see some of the native Macedonian wildlife up close, like brown bears and Eurasian lynx. 🐻🐾 Plus, the zoo's location within Skopje City Park makes it a convenient stop during a day of sightseeing. 🏞️🚶 After visiting the zoo, be sure to explore other attractions in Skopje, like the Old Bazaar, Skopje Fortress, and the iconic Stone Bridge. 🏰🛍️🌉 Don't forget to sample some delicious Macedonian cuisine while you're in town! 🍽️🇲🇰 #skopjezoo #natureescape #exploremacedonia
