If your date has a sweet tooth, do check out Chalk Farm Bakery at Parkway Parade. They sell a huge collection of unique cakes that can’t be found elsewhere. Some of their interesting flavours are Chocolate Guinness, Pistachio Rose, and Carrot Whisky Sultana. There’s something for every palette here. They also sell a small selection of kueh and one notable kueh is their kueh salat. It comes in a untraditional form as a cake slice as opposed to the rectangle we are used to. The kueh is fragrant and chewy and so worth the calories. Though the price is a little high but the quality is sure to impress your date.
