Botak Cantonese Porridge

There is a cantonese porridge stall with a very cute name at our Tampines hub hawker center. This porridge stall is called Botak cantonese porridge and Botak means bald headed. I do know the reason behind the stall name because neither of their staff are bald but one thing is for sure. Their porridge is really delicious and you see a steady line of people queuing for bowls of this hot comforting porridge. As how cantonese porridge should be, it is thick, flavourful and comes with lots of ingredients. There are many porridge to choose from, such as fish porridge, pork ball porridge, century egg porridge, etc. Garnish and sesame oil drizzles are given for that extra oomph. The stall even earned themself the 'Most nominated favourite hawker in Singapore' award and this perhaps explain the long queues for their yummy porridge. #tripblazers #foodie
