It was designed in 1964 by Fraser Brunner, then director of the Van Kleef Aquarium. Two years later it was adopted by the Singapore Tourism Board as its logo and was used until 1997. The Merlion has become a symbol of Singapore. 🥳🥳 National Museum of Singapore 🕌🕌 The museum was established in 1849 by the then Singapore Institutions Committee and was formerly known as the Raffles Library and Museum.
