Rabbit Lantern Chinatown Point

#meetsingapore The lantern festival at Chinatown and without fail, there will always be lantern decorations here. If you walk towards Chinatown Point, you will also get to see many rabbits on display too. In fact, these rabbit displays were being featured on the news for the wrong reasons. These rabbit displays were faceless and emotionless and some took it as a bad omen. However, it was meant to be a contest to design the rabbit. So everyone can try to design the rabbit and the winning entry will be drawn on to the rabbit faces. At the same time, there were more lanterns displayed at Lights by the Lake at Jurong Lake Gardens for the same lantern festival. It is a joyous celebration in Singapore but it is not a public holiday here.
