Jungle Hotel Lifestyle Room

Have driven past this hotel many times and also attracted by its facade and greenery. Glad to have finally booked a stay here. Checked into Lifestyle room 1128 and impressed from the start. Once out of the lift, had to walkthrough an open air walkway to the room but did not mind as the greenery on the way to the room, coupled with water feature was calming and lowered the temperature. Made me feel like I was in a holiday resort instead of a hotel in Chinatown. Stood outside my room and was left a little dumbfounded. The door was concealed within a wooden wall panel but once I entered, was in for more shock. The room was huge! The toilet was huge too, taking up about half the size of the room. A large wooden partition separated the room from the toilet. the bathtub was one of the more interesting ones. seemed to be made of ceramic(?), it was anti slip and angled on one side, which made it very relaxing to soak in the tub. The greenery outside the toilet also added to the resort feel. the only problem with the greenery was that it partially obstructed the view from the room. My room faced the cbd so that was a little pity but the juxtaposition between the cbd buildings and the greenery made it an interesting view. I had a fun time taking numerous shots of the architecture of the hotel, both the interior and the exterior and from all angles, and day and night. The pool was also kind of interesting. the pool area has many different pods for guests to relax in. It was also an infinity pool that allowed users views of Hong Lim park and the cbd behind. One thing to note that as the pool does not get much sunlight, it can get quite chilly and no amount of laps of swimming in the pool could chase the chill away. On the same floor as the pool was also a garden where many different types of plants, herbs are grown and the in house hotel restaurant uses them for its dishes. Did not manage to get a room with bf provided but why settle for hotel breakfast when you have Hong Lim Food Centre just next to the hotel? Lots of choices and many yummy food to discover. Chinatown Point is also next to the hotel where more food choices await and grocery shopping is possible. All in all, love the hotel and would like to try its collection room next to get a chance to experience the lounge located on the top floor of the hotel! #muststay #infinitypool #staycation
