Temples & Beautiful Beaches @ Kusu Island

Kusu Island, or Tortoise Island got its name from the legend where it had a magical tortoise that turned itself into an island to save 2 shipwrecked sailors. Other than the Chinese Temple, the island also has a beautiful beach and a tortoise sanctuary. Wonder around the island to explore the natural beauty of the island or just laze/sunbathe at the beach! Getting there is easy by the 2 ferry companies at Marina South Pier: Singapore Island Cruise Ferry and Marina South Ferry. The ferries also stop by St John Island so you can also have an island hoping trip in the same day. Do take note of the ferry schedules though in order to catch the ferry back to Singapore since no overnight camping is allowed on Kusu Island
