Red Dot Design Museum

Red Dot Design Museum at Marina Bay has exhibitions that display unique and futuristic looking creations that solve or improve practical problems by artists, both local and overseas. It was an interesting experience for us to appreciate their creativity in coming up with new and improved versions of everyday items that are not only practical but also come in sleek designs. They have recently changed their exhibitions, thus what you see here may differ. They have a souvenir shop that sells knick knacks for you to bring a piece of the museum home. A cafe is also available if you are craving for a snack and drink. They sell mainly desserts, rice dumplings, chips and popcorn, while drinks are mainly coffee and beer. The design of the cup used for the hot coffee was interesting, as it has a layer of insulation so that you will not burn your fingers while sipping the drink, yet maintaining the heat too. The cakes are also not cloyingly sweet and fluffy. #artshunting
