Haw Par Villa

#singaporetrip Haw Par Villa is unlike any other theme park in Singapore. Originally built in 1937 by the creators of Tiger Balm, it’s a surreal open-air park filled with over 1,000 statues and dioramas depicting Chinese folklore, Confucian teachings, and Buddhist mythology. The most famous (and eerie) part is the “10 Courts of Hell,” which graphically illustrates moral lessons from Chinese mythology. While it's not for the faint-hearted, it’s a unique cultural experience that you won't find anywhere else. A visit to Haw Par Villa adds a quirky, educational twist to your #singaporetrip and gives deep insight into traditional Chinese values.
