Hearty Breakfast at J65 by Shangri-La

Address - 1A Cuscaden Road, Singapore Jen Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La *very near Orchard (where there are plenty of restaurants and malls!!!) I had dinner appointment with friends and knowing that my online meeting might overrun, I wanted to stay nearer to the dinner venue so I won’t be late. I needed a reasonably-priced hotel to work in and stay overnight. I stayed here before during Chinese New Year. Remembering their decent choice of buffet breakfast, I considered staying again in this hotel. Upon reaching the hotel, you can either go to the registration counters or their self check-in kiosk. I personally prefer to do manual check-in with their friendly receptionists then do self check-out at the end of my stay. Unlike the very elaborate decors during Chinese New Year (when I first stayed here), it was simpler this time around during Ramadan Mubarak. The highlight of my very, very short trip moment to this hotel was having a good night’s sleep then partaking of their breakfast spread 😂😂😂 They have a modest selection of Western, Chinese and Singaporean food which was enough for me. It’s assisted buffet. I especially like their fruits & yogurt section and their bread & omelette stations. I don’t mind staying in this hotel again if I just need a quiet place to work in or just to be near a place I have to go to after work or the next day, if it’s a non-working day.
