Sheraton Towers Overnight Stay

Sheraton Towers Address - 39 Scotts Road, Singapore Facilities - swimming pool, gym, spa (closed as of Mar 2022), club lounge Highlight - executive lounge My cousin & I received this hotel stay as a Christmas gift last year. We were booked at a Guest Room, High Floor, with Club Lounge access. Fast check-in process. Our room was ready by check-in time. No deposit was required from us. Room was spacious enough. However, I feel that the room decor is a bit outdated already. There are usb and hdmi ports but I didn’t bring my chromecast so I don’t know if the port works. Their tv has the standard english channels (hbo, etc) but no built-in chromecast or screen mirroring function. The bathroom is ok. There is no bidet. The tub is not separated from the shower though. The hotel has a gym with lots of equipment. Their swimming pool is okay but not child-friendly. Only the part where the pool stairs is located is shallow. The rest of the pool, above 4ft already. Note that there is no lifeguard. We swam around 10am and found that the water temperature is just about right. Not cold nor hot. We enjoyed our morning swim! Booking for these facilities are done via the reception. Before use, you have to register with the person assigned at that floor. However, there are times when that area is not manned so sometimes, guests without booking can enter the gym and pool. Only one hour slots each can be booked for the gym and pool. Noticeable is their extensive in-room dining menu. We weren’t able to try though. Breakfast served is by set but the appetizers are unlimited. Unlike other hotels where you have club lounge access, your breakfast is still served in their main Dining Hall, not in the lounge. Hotel location is very convenient as there are bus stops near it - in case you want to go to Orchard for shopping ;) I rate this staycay experience 4 stars out of 5. I still enjoyed my stay at this hotel and was able to rest and recharge. However, honestly, this hotel did not make the cut for the hotels I’d like to frequently stay in.
