Sweet and Savoury Recharge

#weekendgetaways If you get tired of going around the Marina Bay Sands area, visit Origin + Bloom and recharge your energy by getting their beautiful cakes and strong drinks. After visiting the museum, we went to the MBS hotel lobby and stopped by the tower 3 outlet of the cafe to eat lunch. Aside from sweets, they also serve savouries like sandwiches. My sister and I ordered the beef and ham croissant sandwich, chocolate cake, hot chocolate drink, and hot caramel latte. There were few seats available for dining in so it's either you wait for seats or just do takeaways. We both liked evrything we ordered. The chocolate cake was not too sweet, it's nice. The sandwich was the best and the drinks were just right. The coffee drinks though have strong coffee taste. Come visit as an escape from everyday food and environment, I'm definitely coming back to try the other cakes!
