The bustling environment is full of energy, making it a great spot to immerse yourself in the local food culture. I decided to try the famous Hainanese chicken rice, which is a must-try dish at Maxwell. The chicken was tender and flavorful, served with fragrant rice and accompanied by a delicious chili sauce. It lived up to its reputation and was definitely one of the highlights of my meal. I also sampled some dumplings and satay skewers from other stalls, both of which were equally delightful. The seating area is spacious, but it can get quite crowded, especially during lunch hours. I recommend arriving early to secure a good spot.
