Bird Paradise

#parksandgardens Even on a Tuesday morning, Dad & I expected to see hordes of tourists swarming the Bird Paradise…but nope, it turned out otherwise! There were still several visitors, but more than enough room, and we kept hopping on & off the tram to the various enclosures (although they were all within walking distance 😂) cos’ there was ALWAYS one awaiting passengers at both tram stations when we passed by and NO queue at all 😆 Mere minutes were all it took to feed the African starlings as these birds swiftly dived in for their respective mealworm kills, but this up-close encounter was definitely the main highlight of my visit 😍 especially when we each enjoyed a photoworthy moment of a starling perch comfortably on our caps 🧢
