Otters and manatees at River Safari Zoo

When you visit the River Safari river-themed wildlife zoo, be sure to drop by the exhibits with the otters and the manatees! The first exhibit my husband and I visited was the otter exhibit. They were so cute, playing and frolicking with each other all around the enclosure. Right after the otters were the manatees in an adjacent exhibit. We got to see the feeding session where guests who pay an additional fee can partake in the fun of getting up close and personal with the gentle giants. One of the manatees was even swimming upside down while having its poop hanging from its underside. Hilarious but candid!
