National Gallery Singapore & National Museum of Singapore & Fort Canning Park.

National Gallery Singapore is located in the heart of the Civic District, and is housed in two national monuments—City Hall and former Supreme Court—that have been beautifully restored and transformed into this exciting venue. The National Museum of Singapore is the nation's oldest museum that seeks to inspire with stories of Singapore and the world. Its history dates back to 1887 when it opened on Stamford Road as the Raffles Library and Museum. Fort Canning Park is a historical landmark. The decision was made to turn it into a fort in 1859. The fort was named Fort Canning after Viscount Charles John Canning, who was then Governor-General and the first Viceroy of India.
