Mandarin Oriental, we are finally here

I finally managed to book a room for 1 night staycay at Mandarin Oriental (MO) in January 2022. It was quite a long wait, since the hotel was mainly for SHN or quarantine for the past few months. The moment i stepped in the hotel. I was fascinated by the oriental traditional interior and decorations, I felt like I was in a grand antiques gallery. Then I was having a deja vu that the architecture style was almost identical to the neighbouring Park Royal Collection Marina Bay Hotel. Well no doubt they used to belong to the same family, somehow it felt amazing to stay at a familiar looking hotel, the feeling of same same but different was constant. The most beautiful spot was the view at the swimming pool, the CBD view had been documented by many travellers or bloggers. Besides the view, the tropical beautiful canopy definitely allowed you to chillax at the pool side. The furnishings of the room were well preserved and the city view was brilliant as well. I had an 11 hours of undisrupted sleep on the comfortable bed and cuddled by fluffy sheets and pillows.
