Lau Pa Sat

#singaporetrip Completed in 1824, Lau Pa Sat (old market in Hokkien) celebrates its 130th anniversary this year. The market remains one of the oldest Victorian structures in South-East Asia and one of the first structures built in pre-fabricated cast iron in Asia. It is a food court with stalls selling a variety of local cuisine. At night the adjacent street is closed off and transforms into a Satay Street.
