Japanese fusion restaurant

Tanoke is a semi fine dining Japanese fusion restaurant, we came here during restaurant week for dinner, managed to get good deal from set dinner! It’s a nice little cozy place located on the second floor, the ambience of this place is so nice! We were served with the hamachi sashimi with white truffle as our starter, it was so fresh and delicious, the only down side of this dish is that it’s too small! 😆we tried 3 different mains- Waugh beef, miso cod fish and tomahawk. My personal favourite is the Waygu beef, the beef is so tender and it need no seasoning, just abit of salt and pepper will do. All that mains come with a bowl of seaweed rice with an egg on rice! The miso cod is nice as well, miso paste is nice and the cod fish is tender, not overcooked. It’s a simple yet delicious dish. We also ordered a sake to share, I like it on how you can choose your own sake glass! Last but not least, the matcha panna cotta is the highlight of this meal!! It was so good and delicious, it’s light but delicious at the same time, milky and with strong matcha taste!
