#singaporetrip We ordered fish and chip Ala carte, one set of fish and chip + soup, one set of beef cheek bolognese + soup, one set of tiger prawn linguine + soup, spicy duck loaded fries, coffee and iced mocha. The set of beef cheek bolognese and soup cost $30. The price of ala carte beef cheek bolognese and soup was $22 and $8, respectively. So, the set and Ala carte order cost the same $30. Even weirder. The set of tiger prawn linguine and soup cost $34, which was more expensive than ordering the tiger prawn linguine ($25) and soup ($8) per ala carte. After pointing this out to the waiter, the waiter checked with the manager and offered us cookies as compensation. Not sure why they couldn't simply refund us $1. Soup - not hot, crouten not fresh crispy, small bowl. pasta mania standard. Not worth $8. Fish and chip - good serving of fish and chips, and some greens. Beef cheek bolognese - quite delicious. Tiger prawn linguine - OK. Spicy duck loaded fries - good portion of "smoked duck" which tasted like sausages. Service- the waiters were responsive and polite, and food and drinks were served promptly. Atmosphere - indoor. It was quite warm and we were sweating. Noticed that the ceiling air-con was not switched on. The decor was nice.
