Stairs that was once used by prisoners?

Back-of-House Tour of the National Gallery. This was a very informative tour for a non-Singaporean like me. I'm not really familiar with the high profile cases or detailed history of Singapore but it was still very very interesting. The guide was engaging and not super formal, adding to the fun of the whole tour. What made this tour appealing to me was the secret passageways and spaces not open for the public. Some places were definitely eerie. I also loved the bits and pieces of fun trivia. The architectural design was also discussed but not extensively because there's a separate tour for that(next on my list). The tour lasted for an hour I believe and there were around 15 of us. To be able to sign up for this tour, one has to buy the general admission ticket to the gallery first and then buy the tour ticket. We went around the exhibitions and the gallery after the tour using the general admissions ticket that we bought. p.s. did not take a photo of the stairs, the area is creepy. #singapore
