Free Stay at an Urban Paradise? Thanks Trip!

Overnight weekend stay at Novotel Singapore on Stevens (free from @trip 😎) ... 1. Novotel Singapore on Stevens (@novotelstevens) 2. Infinity pool (Novotel) 3. Infinity pool at night; Lap pool (Mercure) 4. Corners & lift lobbies 5. View from the room at sunset; Around the hotel 6. Superior Twin Room 7. Other room details 8. Winestone 9. Food at @winestone.sg 10. @laperitif for mocktails and cake; @food.exchange for breakfast buffet ... Review: Staff - all were very nice & helpful. Location - it's near Orchard Road! Accessibility - near Stevens MRT, have their own dedicated bus stop, they also provide shuttle service. Walked from the MRT and it was a 10-minute-my-pace distance. Facilities - lap pool & infinity pool, gym, tennis court, laundromat & kids club. Mercure & Novotel share these facilities but they're never crowded. Room - typical amenities, not smart tv but you can cast your device, bed was nice, no bathrobes though, weird placement of handheld bidet for right-handed hahaha Dining - lots of choices since Mercure & Novotel share these options: • L'aperitif - tried their mocktails (rose & mango), they were good. My sister & I loved the salted caramel cake. • Winestone - we liked the food, serving is huge, I couldn't finish mine. We requested for our leftover fries to be packed. There was a slight mishap, my sister received the wrong food but was immediately replaced. Banana turon for dessert was very good! •Food Exchange - I topped up the free overnight stay with breakfast to be able to try this restaurant. The spread was okay, not super extensive. They have local & veggie options. The western options were typical breakfast food. Not crowded at 7:30am. • There were other restaurants that we weren't able to try at the vicinity of the hotel: Grub, Enjoy Eating House & Bar, The Gyu Bar, etc. Overall, I liked the stay.
