Dinner on the moon with sunset view

He asked me what's my favourite cuisine and I picked Chinese. He then brought me to this venue that was hidden inside Yue Hwa Chinese Product store. You'll have to take the lift up to level 6, upon arriving, you'll be greeted with a fancy looking restaurant that supposedly look like the moon. The place was not too crowded on the weekday. We were seated by the window looking over Chinatown and the sunset in the distance. We ordered a appetiser, a soup and a main to share: 1. Cold angel hair past with scallop, caviar and truffle - 9/10 The dish was well balanced and elegant looking, but I believe the one at Miss G was slightly better in terms of flavours. 2. Duck dumpling with mushroom soup - 10/10 I wasn't feeling well that day but this soup was so comforting. It was umami from the mushroom broth and the duck did not had that smell. 3. Steak - 10/10 the meat was soft and tender. It melts in the mouth and the sauce balanced the dish out. Sweet and savory! A delight to my tastebuds. For the price, the portion was very small. Thus I could not give it 5/5. However, the staffs were very quick, friendly and attentive. The food presentations were on point. Definitely a place to bring your dates or partner on a special occasion! The place is slightly cold so do bring a shawl or jacket. Luckily my date had a jacket I could use. #singapore #sgfoodie
