Guide: Singapore to KL via Seletar Airport

Easy, cheap and peaceful if I have to describe my experience. So I've heard about this private experience for quite awhile now, and I decided to give it a try for the short weekend getaway. I booked a returned Firefly flight to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang Airport) from Seletar Airport. I wished I knew some stuff earlier before embarking on this trip, so let me share some of my experiences and tips. 1. My mistake was booking a late flight to KL and a early one back to Singapore. Despite this, the check in here was so fast, it compromises the unfortunate mistake. You'll only need to be at either airports 30 minutes in advance. 2. Food at the Seletar airport is limited, and average tasting, so you might want to eat elsewhere before heading over. 3. You'll get 20kg check in and 7kg carry on. And because the airport only have 1 flight coming in at a time, you barely need to wait to collect your checked in luggages. Thus I recommend checking in everything for a hands free flight. 4. The takeoff is quick. As soon everyone is seated, the plane will start to move and as soon as they demonstrate the safety protocols, it will take off. 5. Snacks will be served as soon as the plane stabilised itself. We received peanuts, famous amos cookies and a bottled of water. 6. By the time you're done with your snack, the plane is ready to land. 7. The Subang Airport is 30 minutes nearer than KLIA to the city center. And you can take the rail to the city center. We booked the taxi from the taxi stand as it was much cheaper than Grab. 8. There are several food store available at the Subang Airport if you really want to eat. Overall I highly recommend this option if you're looking for a quick hassle free way to travel. The flight was smooth, the check in was quick and it removes the burden of international flights to be at the airport 2hrs prior. Give this a try in your next trip!
