Indulgence at Valley Wing

This was our first time staying at the Shang and it certainly left us yearning for more! After we were checked in, we plonked ourselves on the couches for our afternoon tea and henceforth began our boozy staycation. I mean, everyone is here for the free-flow Veuve Cliquot, right? The afternoon tea was a good balance of sweet and savoury treats. The breakfast was delish with quite a good selection (caviar!), though the evening canapé fell short of my expectations. The room, albeit dated, was incredibly spacious for two of us. Once we entered the room, a welcome card, along with a plate of fruits and chocolates greeted us. It was a nice personalised gesture from the hotel. The King bed was god sent, and cushioned with fluffy pillows. The bathroom was huge and equipped with a tub! Bathroom toiletries were mainly L’occitaine (if that’s your thangggg 😏) There was also a nespresso machine and a couple of sachet of tea. Everything you’ll need to have a comfy stay!
