Transportation Tips - Line 4 Metro, Bus Local attractions - red lighthouse, fishing market, tree of life Food & Restaurants - Fresh seafood On my last day in Seoul, I wanted to visit #Yongjong Island and #Freedom Park, but wanted to see something special, so I took the Line 4 Subway 🚇 to Ul Island. It takes about an hour and a half from Myeongdong Station to Uejima Station. After exiting the gate, take a 15-minute bus ride to Ul Island Pier. However, this time I chose to walk from the station to get a close feel of the daily life of Korean residents. 😎 Ur Island is best known for its #redlighthouse, tree of eternal life and seafood market. Walking near the seaside, the roadside is full of cherry trees. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the cherry blossoms this time😔. Walking along the breakwater, you will first see the Tree of Eternal Life, which lights up at night, the atmosphere is completely different, the evening sunset must be beautiful; Next to the lighthouse occasionally tourists feed the seagulls, the seagulls immediately fly over, very spectacular, super feel. 🥰 The mudflat near the lighthouse has a "mudflat experience" when the tide recedes, but it rained that day and you can't see anything. 😞😞 Across the lighthouse is a seafood market, selling freshly caught seafood, processed foods, etc. I don't know how cheap it is, but there are many kinds, including lobsters🦞, shellfish, and long-legged crabs. Seafood Restaurant Street is located next to the pier. Some restaurants offer "all-you-can-eat shellfish", which is not expensive. However, #traveling alone didn't eat much, so I chose a regular restaurant and ordered shrimp and octopus. Because I went there on weekdays, the restaurant was not crowded. The octopus 🐙 was served whole. The owner was afraid that I didn't know how to eat, so she helped me cook the whole process. The octopus head has to be left until the end to cut, the soup turns black and super sweet. Eating seafood in a fishing port is another way of eating.
